You make the call.

JESUS, SON OF MARY, WAS A MUSLIM — AND HE PROVED IT EVERY DAY

Here is the truth that cannot be denied: Jesus, peace be upon him, was a Muslim. Not in the modern political sense, but in the original, eternal meaning of the word: one who submits to God. His entire life was submission. His every prayer was surrender. His put his trust in the One he called "Father." Let the Gospels and the Quran bear witness together.

1. JESUS SAID: "THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I."

"If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I" (John 14:28).

A Muslim is one who acknowledges that God is greater than any created being. Jesus declared the Father greater. He placed himself in a position of submission, not equality. This is Islam.

2. JESUS SAID: "I CAN OF MYSELF DO NOTHING."

"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me" (John 5:30).

A Muslim is one who recognizes complete dependence on God. Jesus admitted he could do nothing on his own. His power came from God. His will was submitted to God. This is Islam.

3. JESUS PRAYED: "NOT MY WILL, BUT YOURS BE DONE."

"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done" (Luke 22:42).

A Muslim is one who surrenders personal desire to divine command. In his darkest moment, Jesus did not assert his own will. He submitted. The word "Islam" means submission. Jesus submitted. He was a Muslim.

4. JESUS WORSHIPPED WITH HIS FACE TO THE GROUND.

"And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed" (Matthew 26:39).

A Muslim is one who prostrates before God in humility. Jesus fell on his face. He prayed with his forehead to the earth. This is exactly how Muslims pray. Jesus prayed as a Muslim prays.

5. JESUS CALLED GOD "MY GOD AND YOUR GOD."

"I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God" (John 20:17).

A Muslim is one who acknowledges that God is his Lord and the Lord of all. Jesus had a God. He worshipped that God. He called others to worship that same God. That God is Allah, the One God. This is Islam.

THE QURAN BEARS WITNESS

"And indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path" (Quran 19:36).

These are the words of Jesus himself, preserved in the Quran. He did not call people to worship himself. He called them to worship Allah, his Lord and their Lord.

"He was no more than a servant. We granted Our favor to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel" (Quran 43:59).

Jesus was a servant. He never claimed divinity. He never asked for worship. He served his Lord until the end.

CONCLUSION

Jesus was a Muslim. He prayed like a Muslim. He submitted like a Muslim. He pointed to God like a Muslim. He never said "worship me." He said "worship the Father." He never claimed equality with God. He claimed dependence on God.

The question is not whether Jesus was a Muslim. The question is: why aren't you following him?
